$2000 bid on a 1" my miami chalice on ebay

Not really familiar with Ebay bidding, but can the bidding be rig? What I am saying is if you get a few or a bunch of people in the scam to jack up the price by outbidding every legit bidder, can that happen? and the coral was never really sold?

The above statement is not true in this case.
WWC is auctioning off this coral. If is only the 3rd frag of it selling. The other two sold at MACNA, I believe for $1500 each.

There are two main guys bidding on this who really really want the frag. They increased the price the first day of bidding. Now wait on the last day the big guns will come out to buy it. I guess it will go for about $2500 + when all said and done.

My ability to RTN an SPS frag is directly proportional to how much money I spent on it. I would guess that it would be toast about 30 seconds after it hit my tank.

I think that this hobby is becoming more a fashion show! I say if you like the look of it spend the money but don't do it to be cool! I bet I could photoshop a tird and get some of those people to by it!

+1 for craziness but I will probably get it since I like it so much! Go figure!

Say hello to my poor man's My Miami :D

It morphs from brown to purple to blue, order subject to change :)

That's the bubble gum monster you like so much.
