Anyone into freshwater shrimps/planted tanks

Sup peeps been getting into freshwater shrimps the last couple of weeks...Anyone into shrimps??? Kinda going a little overboard with them but aquariums are addicting...I currently have 3 nano tanks running for shrimps.....a 3g with red and yellow neos...a fluval edge with orange Sakura shrimps,red crystal shrimp,chocolate shrimp?..and I'm setting up a 8g rimless for some red wine shrimps and a few other shrimps ..... would like to hear from people who had/have them..... Lets see your freshwater set ups !!!! I'll load mine when photobucket is not slow

Awesome Ish! I really like the ones where the plants are growing right out the top of the tank. Nice tanks.
 
My frogs and painted turtles want a sleep-over in your tank to eat some fresh foods, those are the only fresh water systems I have as I try and grow the turtles and tadpoles out. I am setting up another tank to try and breed some leopard frogs for my koi pond though but it will be pretty basic. Just saw this guy out this afternoon, hopefully will lay some eggs this summer

I'm in the process of setting up a 5 gallon planted shrimp tank. I'm thinking blue dream or crystal red mix with crystal black. Any pointers would be appreciated.
 
I have several tanks that I'm breeding shrimp in. I have a moderate obsession with the cute little guys. My favs are my cardinal shrimp.

Here's a pretty terrible time lapse. But it's the only way I can really get to see them.

I have a bunch of new babies hatching, if anyone is looking for some shrimps!

Yeah haha I have lots of time lapse vids, or do you want a still shot? It's not very spectacular. It's my breeding tank. Or one of them.

Orange Sakura on top. Pumpkins on bottom (have a deep orange color ) and blue a blue velvet



Red wine


Crystal red on left .... Golden bee ? (All white)

Ahhhh if you have any extra of the blue, Sakura, or pumpkins let me know.

I just have rili, cherry, red wine, uhhh like 4 blue velvet and 6 cardinals. I need a larger variety =]

I could wait no hurry I have guppys and tetras on my tank. Would that be a problem. I never kept fresh water shrimp. But I'm interested can pick some up after your trip.
