Anyone use a Reefbot before?

Hi Derek- I have. The first version. They have done some cool things with it since. I have also used the similar mastertronic which I would say is better if you’re looking for the all-in-one tester.

Version1 was garbage imo. Overall to inconsistent testing results. The needles would get stuck in the reagents, or bend or not get the correct amount. Overall turned into a pita to diagnose. Customer support is trash as well if you can even get a hold of them.

Oof that’s no bueno. Thanks for the heads up.

It seems like the reviewed for the mastertronic aren’t amazing either. I guess the ‘auto-tester’ has a ways to go before being a solid technology.

You forgot noisy and takes long to test. :)

Mastertronic is definitely better. I don’t agree with a lot of the complaints on that side. It’s great for trends (maybe not precise measurement). Main complaint I have with the mastertronic is if you test often (alk) you end up filling up that vial often. I credit my Mastertronic for identifying my low and now monitoring my nitrates. It did this while my (broken) Hanna nitrate HR was giving me a false sense of security
