Don't neglect your cables

Hey guys, just a friendly reminder to check your suspension cables that hold your lights for deterioration. I came home to my lights almost in the tank. After shutting the power off and trying to see if the cables could be spared, the light came crashing into the tank. The metal cables had rotted all the way through.

Yikes! Hope it didn't suffer/do too much damage.

Always wondered about those cables. I'll see about reinforcing mine or add a backup.
