Petition to stop shark finning

Awesome cause, but doesn't have much of a chance unless you can convince China, Japan, and South Korea... Good luck.

There was a cool documentary on this a couple years ago called Sharkwater I believe. Definitely recommend it.

Yeah, unfortunately there are still countries out there who don't care about driving species into extinction. It shocks and saddens me that Japan, an otherwise advanced nation, continues to kill thousands of whales every year.
 
Yeah I don't think it will work either. It would require international compliance. Have you guys see the sushi they have, it's still alive when they eat it. So cruel looking
 
I called my friend in Japan today and told her she better not be eating any shark fin soup or I would never talk to her again she said she doesn't even like shark and I told her she has to tell her friends and family what they are doing to the sharks. She saw the video and cried and hopefully she can stop some of her friends and family from buying shark fins.

they already passed that law, it is illegal in most countries to do shark finning at sea. some countries didnt sign up but America is on the ball already.
