Rant follow up lol:

I think it's because they simply aren't confident that the pic they post is going to match up with what they claim in the title, and it's much easier to get away with that when you can text newbies and low information reefers the pics privately. I saw someone today post holy grail torches for sale and didn't bother to post pics.. Quite a claim to then not attach at least one pic in some way or another. Wish I could get away with doing that lol

I think the biggest issue is that people don't know that they can change the resolution and file tyoe of the image that they are trying to post. If it isn't jpg or the file is too large tapatalk won't post it. It is a matter of people not wanting to take the effort to learn how things work.

That and..... some folks are selling crap and don't want to be called out.....LOL

There might be an easier way but if you email yourself your photos they are typically compressed low enough to work directly in the thread. (Copy/paste from email)

This is one way to do it. Another option is to change the settings in your camera to take lower resolution photos. This way the file is small enough right from the start. On most new phones the default setting for pictures is high resolution and many people never think to go in and change this.

On the site, I usually can't upload photos due to file being too large. Instead of taking photo is lower resolution or making file size smaller, I always upload photos using Tapatalk and never have issues but they are always jpeg files and I usually select medium size.

Another way is just attach a file from your photo album but before you hit add, on the bottom left is a resolution changer and you can change it that way. Here’s photo what it looks like. Choose large.
