Sick fish need advice

I’ve had this designer clownfish for about two months, and it was healthy until a few days ago. It has stopped eating, looks thin, breathes heavily, has long white stringy waste, and now just lays on the sand bed. Some research suggest internal parasites, but I don’t have a quarantine tank to treat it. What’s the best course of action?
Any advice is appreciated.
Also, water tested just fine. Nothing unusual or different.

Sounds like brook to me
Brooklynella hostilis is a parasitic ciliate that affects marine fish, particularly clownfish, causing a slimy, mucous-like coating on the skin and severe respiratory distress. Symptoms include rapid gill movement, lethargy, and a faded or peeling appearance of the skin. Treatment involves formalin baths and follow-up medication like Metronidazole in a quarantine tank

Treatment
Formalin Bath: A 30- to 60-minute formalin bath is a common and effective treatment.
Quarantine: Immediately move the infected fish to a separate quarantine tank.
Follow-up Medication: After the formalin bath, treat the fish in the quarantine tank with Metronidazole every 48 hours for 10-14 days.
Other options: Some hobbyists have had success with other treatments like chloroquine or a freshwater dip, but formalin is often the first recommendation.
UV Sterilizer: A UV sterilizer can help prevent the spread of the parasite in the main display tank.

Thanks for the quick response! Any idea who carries formalin and metronidazole locally?
