I have a tendency to wait to share things until they’re 100% perfect or until I have all the time in the world to sit down and give all the details, but this will be just a starting point of a thread to share my tanks.

I tend to share more on Instagram if you have an opportunity to follow on there @TysTanks

My wife and I worked and saved a long time and (with some luck) were able to buy our first home last year. That means I got to finally have a dedicated space to aquariums. So of course I made the first project on the home renovation list to finish the garage so we could start on the system.

Here’s the current setup in the finished garage:
XL Mangrove Display Tank
Waterbox shallow system dedicated to anemones
150g Frag System (moved with us)

And inside I’ll share some photos of the display tank

Such a nice clean setup! I love that mangrove tank and of course the anemone tank!
Always great deals on nice clean quality frags.

Tank: Reef Savvy 180
Stand: Benner’s Woodworking

I purchased the tank, stand, and aquascape used from another member on the forum. It really is an incredibly well made tank and stand that I don’t think I would have been able to purchase otherwise.

The tank is plumbed through the wall and into the garage where it connects to a shared sump.

Here are some photos from April setting it up:

any updates on this beautiful tank?

Tanks have definitely seen some ups and downs. Here’s a couple of photos from the end of last year and then I’ll get some up to date shots soon.

I post more regularly on instagram if anyone would like to follow there @TysTanks
