Your skimmer shuts off when the skim mate locker is full
There is a cable to the apex that is programmed to shut off

Report back when the failsafes find the way to not shut off and overflow. Love the idea but am terrified of computer links as failsafes since Y2K :demon:

Hopefull that day will never come and your living room is filled with Peace!

If you go away for a week or 2 that could be a risk
But the same could happen to a collection cup with a float switch that fails
At least with the locker the skim doesn’t leak into your sump

I think with the combo that you have you could undersize the skimmer so it just basically skims 24/7. Add a filter roller and you will have a very low nutrient tank.
